Kui Fang, a licensed veterinarian with a Ph.D. in Veterinary Medicine from the United States, graduated from Huazhong Agricultural University. He was a state-sponsored doctoral candidate in a joint program with the University of Minnesota. He also serves as an industry mentor for professional degree graduate students at Huazhong Agricultural University. Currently, he is the Assistant to the President of Tangrenshen Group and concurrently serves as the Health Director for the South China region and the Pork Free-range Segment. In 2016, he was recognized as the "Most Veterinarian in Guangxi" by the Guangxi Veterinary Association. In 2022, he was awarded the title of "Youth Job Expert of the Year 2022" in Furong District, Changsha City, Hunan Province. He has published over 20 academic papers, including two first-author SCI papers.
