Yulong Yin is an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and advisor for both Ph.D. student and postdoctoral. He is a researcher at the Institute of Subtropical Agriculture, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the Director of the National Engineering Laboratory for Pollution Control and Resource Utilization in Livestock and Poultry Farming. He is also the Chairman of the Trace Elements and Food Chain Branch of the Chinese Society of Agronomy and Honorary President of the Aromatic Industry Branch of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies. Additionally, he is the Editor-in-Chief of “Animal Nutrition”, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of “The Innovation Life”, and serves on the editorial boards of journals like “iMeta”, “Journal of Animal Science” (USA, 2017-2020), “Domestic Animal Endocrinology” (USA, 2007-2009), and the Chinese/English editions of “Science China Life Sciences”.  Dr.  Yin has long been engaged in research on healthy pig farming, leading over 30 major research projects at the institutional, provincial, national, and international levels. He has published more than 300 high-quality papers in journals like “PNAS” and “CNS” sub-journals, with his English-language papers cited over 60,000 times. His H-index on Google Scholar is 108. As the lead researcher, he has won two Second Prizes for National Science and Technology Progress and one Second Prize for the National Natural Science Award. He has received numerous honors, including the Hunan Provincial Award for Outstanding Contribution, the Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation Science and Technology Progress Award, and the Asia-Pacific Nutrition Award for Outstanding Achievement at the 14th International Symposium on Digestive Physiology in Pigs held in Brisbane, Australia, in 2018.
