Dr. Jingdong Yin, a professor and doctoral supervisor of China Agricultural University, New Century Excellent Talent of the Ministry of Education, A scientist of the Frontier Science Center of Molecular Design and Breeding of the Ministry of Education, China. He is a scientist of the National Key Laboratory of Livestock and Poultry Nutrition and Breeding, a member of the Council of China Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Society, the secretary-general of Animal Nutrition Society. Prof. Yin is a Chief Scientist of National Key Research and Development Projects both of the 13th and 14th Five-Year Plan. He obtained more than 60 Million RMB of Project funding from National Natural Science Foundation of China, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and Ministry of Science and Technology, P. R. China. Prof. Yin’s Lab mainly focuses on pig nutrition and muscle metabolism, intramuscular fat accumulation, and efficient and quality meat production technology. His team published more than 100 papers in the well-known academic journals, such as Sci Adv, Cachexia Sarcopenia Muscle, Adv Sci, Redox Biol, J Meat Sci, J Nutr, and so on. He got six national invention patents, and successful transferred three national invention patents. He has published several books, including Animal Muscle Biology and Meat Science, Swine Nutrition, and translated the Sustainable Nutrition in Pigs. His research fruits are extended in the production of high-quality pork. He has won the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award of China (2015)
