Dr. Songlin Qiao is a researcher at the Animal Disease Prevention and Control Research Institute of the Henan Academy of Agricultural Sciences (Key Laboratory of Animal Immunology, Henan Province). He is a doctoral supervisor and has been selected as a high-level talent (Category C) in Henan Province. He serves as the chief expert of the Henan Province Swine Industry Technology System and is also a standing director of the Henan Province Pig Raising Association, a standing director of the Henan Province Veterinary Association, a director of the Henan Province Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine Association, and the vice president of the National Pig Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance. His main research focuses on the pathogenic mechanisms of pig diseases and rapid detection technologies. He has led or participated in 20 research projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation, special scientific research projects for public welfare in agriculture, the Henan Province Swine Industry Technology System, and major scientific and technological projects in Henan Province. He has received several awards, including one First Prize in Natural Science from Henan Province and two First Prizes in Scientific and Technological Progress from Henan Province. He is also part of an outstanding innovative team that received the China Agricultural Science and Technology Achievement Award. He holds 14 authorized invention patents and has published over 140 research papers, including more than 70 in SCI journals, and has translated four academic works.
