Yulan Liu is a professor at School of Animal Science and Nutritional Engineering, Wuhan Polytechnic University. She was awarded the National May 1st Labor Medal and received the National Natural Science Foundation for Outstanding Young Scholars. Dr. Liu is a deputy editor of British Journal of Nutrition and a member of Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology. Until now, Dr. Liu has presided over more than 40 national and provincial scientific research projects and won more than 10 scientific awards such as Hubei Provincial Scientific Progress Award (first-class). Dr. Liu has published over than 160 peer review papers. Dr. Liu’s research area focuses on animal nutrition, immunity and gastrointestinal health, and development of antibiotic substitutes.
