Prof. Qin Wang is a designated expert of WOAH Reference Laboratory for Classical Swine Fever in China. She has made breakthrough in CSF research included development of novel diagnosis methods, molecular epidemiology survey, and establishment of epidemiological information system, pathogenic and immune mechanism, and prevention and control technology for CSF. Currently, she and her team has established the testing methods for diagnosis, epidemic surveillance, and molecular epidemiology analysis and became one of the top CSF diagnostic laboratories in China. She published the first monograph on CSF as a chief editor, 60 research papers. She already gained 6 prizes and many honors from the government for outstanding contribution in animals’ disease control.
