Huanchun Chen

Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Professor of Animal Infectious Diseases at Huazhong Agricultural University, China. Professor Chen has devoted much of his life time to the research and control of animal infectious diseases and zoonotic diseases. He has developed more than 30 kinds of genetic engineering vaccines and molecular diagnosis kits. Professor Chen has won many awards from China, including “the National Progress Awards in Science and Technology” and “the Outstanding Contribution Award of Science and Technology of Hubei Province”. He has got 28 New Veterinary Drug Registration Certificates, 5 "national Key New Product" certificates, and 50 patents. His work makes a huge contribution to the prevention and control of animal infectious diseases in China.
