On October 25, 2024, The 13th World Swine Industry Expo(hereinafter referred to as the "World Swine Expo"), co-sponsored by the University of Minnesota, China Agricultural University and Shixin International Exhibition Group Co., LTD., opened at the China Western International Expo City in Chengdu. More than 120 leading experts, scholars and senior practitioners at home and abroad will gather together to bring 150 special speeches to deeply discuss the risks and challenges faced by the pig industry and the future development trend.

On October 25, the Leman China Swine Conference held the symposium on a New Generation of Swine Veterinarians and Morrison Science Practice Award Selected Report Sharing Session. 10 pre-conference forums were also held, including swine nutrition, swine breeding management, swine infectious disease prevention and control, swine farm biosafety considerations under the new situation, large-scale swine farm manager, swine feed management under the low profit market, swine industry talent demand and training, swine farm air filtration practice and evaluation, etc. These forums focused on key aspects of the pig industry and provided valuable networking and learning opportunities for participants.
