Zhen Yang is an associate professor at the College of Veterinary Medicine at Nanjing Agricultural University and a master's supervisor. He holds a PhD in Veterinary Medicine and a Master’s in Veterinary Science from the University of Minnesota, where he also obtained a certificate in Swine Medicine. Yang is both a licensed veterinarian in the U.S. and China, and serves as the Deputy Secretary-General of the Swine Veterinarian Branch of the Chinese Veterinary Medical Association. He has also been a visiting intern at the Animal Health Division of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) headquarters, a committee member of the International Veterinary Testing and Diagnosis Conference, and a member of the organizing committee for the Nanjing Agricultural University Swine Industry Conference. In addition, Yang is the coordinator of the "Belt and Road" International Innovation Institute for Major Cross-border Animal Disease Diagnosis and Immunization. Specializing in farm animal production medicine, he acts as a consultant for several swine, cattle farming groups, veterinary consulting companies, and animal health enterprises.
