Junjun Wang is a professor and associate dean at the College of Animal Science and Technology at China Agricultural University. He also serves as the Vice Chairman of the Beijing Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine Association, Chairman of the Pig Nutrition Committee of the Animal Nutrition Branch, and Deputy Director of the Germ-Free Animals Committee of the Chinese Society for Laboratory Animal Science. Wang is a recipient of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, a leader of key national R&D projects, and a scientist within the National Swine Industry Technology System. Wang holds editorial roles as Deputy Editor of “Animal Nutrition”, Executive Editor of “Animal Models and Experimental Medicine”, and Editorial Board Member of “Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology“. His research primarily focuses on developmental defects and nutritional regulation in intrauterine growth-restricted (IUGR) pigs, as well as precision nutrition and feeding strategies for pigs. In the past five years, Wang has published over 50 high-level papers as the first or corresponding author in journals such as “Journal of Nutrition”, “Microbiome”, and “Gut Microbes”. He has also authored or co-authored three monographs and was the lead recipient of the Shennong China Agricultural Science and Technology Award (First Prize) and the China Youth Science and Technology Award.
