钟明华博士

        Dr. JONG Ming-Hwa graduated from the Veterinary Department of Taiwan University in 1969 and earned Doctor of Veterinary Medicine conferred by Nihon University, Japan in 1993. After 1 year military service, he started professional career in 1970 as a junior specialist in Taiwan Provincial Animal Research Institute and became the Director of Hog Cholera Research Division until 2009 when he retired. He developed an immunodiffusion diagnostic agent by using soluble antigens of AD virus and an inactivated vaccine was also commercialized which provided an effective tool for controlling of the disease before gene-deleted AD vaccines were introduced into Taiwan. He has devoted himself to promoting the quality of hog cholera LPC-China live vaccine which was developed in 1961 and to adapting the vaccine strain on cell culture since the late of 1980s. Eventually, a highly safe and effective hog cholera tissue culture live vaccine and a new protectant medium by which immediately hypersensitive reaction was solved completely and were successively developed and finally patented in 2005 and 2006, respectively.

       钟明华于1969年毕业于台湾大学兽医系，并于1993年获得日本大学授予的兽医学博士学位。参军一年后，他于1970年开始职业生涯，在台湾省动物研究机构做初级专科医师，于2009年作为猪瘟研究部主任退休。为控制疫情，他研发出一种免疫扩散诊断试剂。试剂使用AD病毒的可溶解抗原。同时开发商业化灭活疫苗，并在基因敲除AD疫苗在台湾面世前成为控制疾病的有效工具。他致力提升猪瘟LPC活性疫苗质量， 该疫苗于1961年在中国研发，并在80年代末用细胞培养培养疫苗株。最终，一种安全性极高并有效的猪瘟组织培养活疫苗和一种解决了超过敏反应的新型保护介质研发成功，并分别于2005和2006年获得专利。
