Anthony G Pearson (Tony), Engineer, is the Business Leader for the Europe, Middle East and Africa region of Antec International Ltd/Chemours Disinfectants and the regional Technical Leader for Biosecurity and Hygiene. Graduated from Bicton College in 1985, and ever worked for Pauls/BOCM as technical and sales support, Al-Khalidia farm in Saudi Arabia as General Manager, Sheerbonnet Ltd. In Africa as Managing Director till joining Antec International Ltd/ Chemours Disinfectants business in 2000.
In Antec International Ltd/ Chemours Disinfectants business, worked as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in South Africa, Global Business Leader for the Poultry market, and worked with Indonesian and Thai Government bodies with FAO to help overcome the Avian Influenza challenge; led a project in China to develop the biosecurity protocols with the Chemours China team as well as AP regional technical support; while worked with DEFRA/UK to overcome the FMD outbreak in Southern England, and working closely with Government bodies to assist for the challenges – Poland, AFS, 2014/15; Netherlands A.I. 2014, Russia ASF 2013/14.
With this wealth of both technical and practical experience, while leveraging the global biosecurity experience of the past 25 years, Tony is well placed to listen, assist and support the poultry, livestock and veterinary markets as this crucial stage of the industry.
