Zhen Yang, DVM, MS, Associate Professor at Nanjing Agriculture University. Zhen completed his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and Master of Science degrees and swine medicine certificate program at University of Minnesota, 2019 graduate of US-China Joint DVM program. Zhen also practice as a food animal veterinarian with Chinese and US veterinary licenses. Zhen completed his swine medicine training at UMN, and other top swine production companies and clinics in the U.S including Smithfield Foods, Seaboard Food, Carthage Veterinary Service, Pipestone Veterinary Services and Zoetis. Zhen has worked as animal health interns in Food and Agricultural Organisation of the United Nations in Rome Italy, student intern in Beijing Genome Center in Shenzhen and Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory, University of Minnesota. Dr. Yang’s current research focuses are production medicine, transboundary animal disease, and porcine circoviruses.
