Dr. Richard French leads Global Animal Health Partners, LLC., dedicated to the integration of health systems. He has served as the Director of the Ohio Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory, a Level 1 USDA National Animal Health Laboratory Network (NAHLN) lab. Dr. French acquired his DVM, MS and PhD from the University of Illinois. He is a veterinary pathologist with over 35 years’ experience, including academic dean, laboratory director, speaker, and as Vice President of Animal Health for CP Group – China, and Head of Operations for the Animal Health Center, Boehringer Ingelheim, Shanghai, China. Dr. French is a member of the USDA, National Animal Health Emergency Response Corp. and has served in international disease outbreaks. He has numerous publications in broad fields, which include the preclinical diagnosis of ASF by RT-PCR and is presently engaged in over $1M in research focused on the early detection of Transboundary Diseases of high consequence in animal health.
