Designated reference expert of OIE reference laboratory for CSF in Spain, Research leader in the Exotic Disease Subprogram at the Animal Health Research Centre (CReSA) in IRTA, Barcelona. Dr Gan ges studies focused on the immunology, pathogenesis and evolution of pestiviruses and CSFV in endemic situations, development of serological and molecular diagnostic methods of relevant viral diseases in animal health, the identification of epitopes and the development of DIVA vaccines against CSFV, FMDV and PRRSV.
