Shuying Liang, senior veterinarian, is the vice manager of LiangQI Breeding farm at Guangxi Yong Xin Animal Husbandry Group Company. Her work involves swine production management, environment control and protection, integrated utilization of manure, farm development and construction, and accreditation. Since 2003, she has been working on manure treatment and integrated utilization. Liangqi has become the first pig farm in Guangxi province that conducted environmental assessment, passed the inspection and utilized the manure for crop production. The project “Research and application of swine production standardization” she led has received a number provincial and national awards.
