Dr. Hans Bundgaard is a co-owner of specialized swine practice Porcus, which offers consulting and advisory services to mordern pigfarms in Denmark and rest of the world. He works as a Clinical Pig Medicine, doing research, advisory service and teaching based on the veterinary services to pig herds. Analysis and diagnosis of herd health status as well as herd management of health, immunity, production, economy, welfare, food-safety are his central subjects. His focus 35 groups are created to have more than 35 PSY per farm and combining the best from science with practical knowledge on farm level. After graduated from Copenhagen University with Doctor degree of Veterinary Medicine in 1993, Dr. Bunfgaard has been working as a Certfied Swine Specialist since 1999. He also received Specialist degree in “Eradiaction of Lawsonia from new established sow farms”. From 2001 to 2004, he was the chairman of Danish veterinary swine specialist.
