Mr. Wu is a senior veterinarian, serving as vice-general manager at Guangxi Yongxin livestock Group, Ltd. in China. He has been responsible for pig health management for large scaled pig farm, biosecurity, and disease control and elimination, especially for Swine fever, PRV and PRRS. Mr. Wu has participated in the development and implementation of 8 scientific research projects, and 2 received the National Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Fishery Harvest Award and the other 6 received the GuangXi Science and Technology Progress Award. In 2011, he was awarded as outstanding employee at the 60th Anniversary of GuangXi Nong Ken. In 2013, he was awarded the National Agricultural Outstanding Individual by the Department of Agriculture Ministry. In 2014, he was selected to study abroad supported by National Scholarship Council. From May 2016 to June 2017, he studied at the University of Minnesota for one year for the Pig Veterinary Certification training program and became the first Chinese veterinarian receiving the Pig Veterinary Certification.
